To reach the municipality of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, you can take the train along the Catania-Messina line to the local station, or travel by car via the SS.114 (Messina-Catania highway) to the Diana area; from there, turn onto the provincial road (S.P.) towards Marina di Cottone. The reserve’s main entrance and visitor center are located about 1,500 meters along this road, approximately 200 meters from the sea.
Visitors can walk the nature trail, which covers a round-trip distance of about 3 km. The path runs over flat, packed-earth terrain and presents no particular difficulties.
The total duration of the visit is approximately 90 minutes, including time for stops and observation.
